Group Finance Manager

We are We Do Play – the name behind Flip Out, the UK’s biggest and best indoor adventure park brand and Putt Putt Noodle, the Asian inspired indoor Adventure Golf concept. You may have also heard of us as the team that created BOOM Battle Bar.

We operate as Franchisors as well as operating our own venues.

We are fun, ambitious and the sky is our limit!

Your new Role

As Group Finance Manager you’ll take charge of all finance related matters and report to our CFO.

  • Manage one direct report and three further indirect reports
  • Look after and update our Excel Financial Model
  • Manage Group cash flow
  • Oversee production of Management Accounts
  • Prepare Consolidated Group Accounts including Accounting for Business Combinations under UK GAAP and Group eliminations
  • Oversee payroll outsource function
  • Prepare year end packs for Audit
  • Assist CFO with Financial Analysis including EBITDA Analysis
  • Manage 3rdparty relationships – relating to finance matters.

As important is the need to see the Big picture and have an eagerness to add value to the Accounts function and to continue to evolve the Group’s reporting.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this role you’ll need to,

  • Be available to start before November 2023
  • Be fully qualified – ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Have experience of Group reporting – preparing Group Management Accounts including Eliminations and Business Combinations
  • Have advanced Excel Skills – including complicated formulae and VBA
  • Be fully remote
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team that also works remotely
