What will the apprentice be doing?
- Comply with all Health and Safety legislation
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy
- General labouring duties
- Assisting in clearing and preparing site for construction work to commence
- Learning how to lay, level and finishing concrete for foundations and floors
- Learning and becoming confident in the Interpretation of plans and drawings
- Learning to install and test private drainage systems
- Pulling all knowledge learnt to eventually progress into being a working groundworker in their own right
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Groundworker Level 2 Standard
- Mentor support within the workplace
- Block release sessions at College
- Assessor support throughout apprenticeship
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
