Job description

Milestone Infrastructure look after 24,000 miles of roads, 280,000 lighting assets and 20,000 miles of footways, always with a view to ensuring that all works are carried out as sustainably as possible and with minimal impact to local communities.

We are looking for a Skilled Operative to join our Civils Projects team for works within London and the South-East. A training and development programme will be provided to develop your competence in this role and to prepare you for a career path with Milestone.

You will be working as part of a 2, 3 or 4 person team delivering a variety of construction schemes including bridge works, highways, public realm improvements and reinforced concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on various complex construction schemes delivering groundworks, drainage and RC structures
  • Operate plant and equipment necessary for the project delivery

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Clean driving license
  • A commitment to Health and Safety
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy
  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Enthusiastic with a good work ethic
  • Working effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers
  • Commitment to Customer Service

Requirements:

  • CSCS Card

Preferred:

  • NRSWA
  • Excavator CPCS/NPORS (360 above & below 10t)
  • Small tools and equipment training
