Are you passionate about working outside and providing excellent customer service? Then this is the perfect job for you! We are looking for Grounds Assistant to join our award-winning team for our 2023 season.
This is a full time, seasonal position. Full UK driving licence needed.
As a Grounds Assistant, you will:
- Ensure that all external areas such as car parks, paths and roadways are kept clean and well maintained.
- Provide an efficient strimming and grass cutting service around our Parks.
- Have an awareness of Health and Safety Compliance to keep yourself, our guests, and your colleagues safe whilst working.
- Ensure the good working order of all ground’s equipment.
- Be responsible for weeding, planting, and maintaining flowerbeds and rockeries.
- Maintain the presentation and safety of all camping and touring pitches and their facilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience within a grounds/commercial gardening/landscaping position.
- A relevant tractor driving licence and/or experience of ride-on lawnmowers.
- Experience in the use of maintenance and gardening equipment.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Good time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise workload under own initiative.
