GROUND WORKER / UK WIDE / £40,000 PER YEAR (£35,000 BASIC + £5,000 GUARANTEED OVERNIGHT PREMIUM)

We have an exciting new opening for a Ground Worker to join our growing team, carrying out a range of short duration civils projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities of the Ground Worker:
- Excavation works including service trenching
- Operation of small highways maintenance plant and equipment
- Carry out ground surveys to locate underground services using cable avoidance tools
- General ground works activities including the laying and levelling of kerbs, paving slabs, tarmac and concrete
- Assist with installation and signage functions when the need arises
Skills & Experience Required:
- Competent in all aspects of ground works
- Valid CSCS card
- CPCS/NPORS
- A knowledge and appreciation of health and safety regulations
- NRWSA Qualification (Streetworks)
- Ability to plan and organise work
- Experience of carrying out high quality civil works
