WM Designs is a respected design agency based in Fowey, Cornwall, that caters to a wide range of clients across various industries locally and nationally. We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our team to work on exciting projects and help us continue to deliver exceptional design solutions to our clients. With also a passion for social media and who can take the responciability of running our accounts and customer accounts.
Our Creative Design agency is looking for a full time graphic designer, Social media co-ordinator and editor to work (37.5 hours per week) Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with 30 minute lunch break unpaid with a 6 month probation period.
The business has been running since 2010 and has seen a huge increase in clients and workload and so this role would be with immediate start or as soon as is reasonably practicable. This role is offered on a full time permanent basis. The role is based in our office in Windmill Industrial Estate in Fowey. Due to the nature of our business we do not offer working from home and any successful candidate would be required to sign non disclosure agreements. We would be offering a competitive salary dependant on experience with 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays per year.
Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing and high-quality designs
- Work in collaboration with team members to develop design concepts, pitch ideas and take on projects from start to finish.
- Work within project timelines to deliver top-quality designs that meet client needs.
- Work with clients to understand their design requirements and provide clear explanations of design concepts.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends and techniques to continuously expand your knowledge and skills.
- Ensure all designs meet the company's objectives for quality, style, and aesthetic appeal.
- A clear understanding of social media marketing
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong knowledge and an eye for detail with typography, layout, colours, and visual hierarchy.
- A strong portfolio of previous design work highlighting design concepts across print and digital media.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Worked with WIX web design
