Role: Full-time
Working hours: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday, 08:30 – 16:00 Friday

Our team is growing! We’re looking for a graphic designer to join our busy in-house creative team. The role would suit a junior designer with a few years’ experience working as a graphic designer. You’ll be flexing your design skills across a broad range of marketing in this fast-paced role. It’s the perfect opportunity to grow your design knowledge and perfect your skillset within a friendly and supportive team. You’ll have a keen eye for current graphic design styles, typefaces and colourways as well as emerging trends. Good communication and organisation are key, as you’ll be working to quick turnarounds and through multiple tasks daily.

ROLE OVERVIEW
- Your role will be to respond and complete design requests from our operations managers and catering teams based throughout the UK.
- It’s a fast-paced role, working to quick-turnaround deadlines – it’s fun designing but we don’t hang about!
- Create visually appealing and on-trend graphic design to engage restaurant customers.
- Complete design process from initial brief, sending drafts for approval, amends and final design.
- You’ll frequently set-up and send work to print.
- Send out design appropriate for digital use (screen displays).
- Design support for other central team departments.
- To represent the core values of the business – to strive to be an expert in your craft.
- MacBook Pro and dual display set-up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Posters, menus, signage and labelling.
- Event banners and marketing.
- Booklet design.
- Newsletters.
- Presentation design.
- Information design – documents, policies and forms.
- Out and about – you’ll get to visit our sites to see your marketing in action and review team requests in person.
- Opportunities to get involved in wider company creative projects.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree or diploma in graphic design.
- Minimum of 1 year industry experience as a graphic designer.
- Fully Mac literate.
- Proficient user of InDesign.
- Capable user of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- An eye for good composition.
- Microsoft office – proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, quick-turnround environment.
- Organised with great written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Thrive in a small team environment with a positive attitude.
- An interest social media trends a bonus.

Salary: £22,000 to £24,000 depending on experience.
