Who you are:
You are an experienced Graphic Designer with a keen eye for detail and a desire to constantly improve brand expression through better design. You will have an excellent understanding across the print channel, from packaging artwork to producing printing collaterals including point-of-sale and window design. You’re also equipped with skills and experience to be able to design for digital and social channel. You’re not afraid to share and pitch new ideas along with collaborating with different team members, and you’ve previously worked in the retail and/or ecommerce industry.
Primary objective of the job:
As a Graphic Designer for White Stuff, your main responsibility is the creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform print material adhering to the White Stuff brand guidelines which drive the brand forward. You will be experienced in delivering creative concept and production for marketing communications, store windows, visual merchandising and product packaging.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Senior Creative Designer working closely with the multichannel design team
- Follow direction from the Senior Creative Designer and work with the broader Creative team to conceptualise seasonal campaigns
- Design concepts in response to artwork requests from other departments within Brand, Trade or Retail teams
- Produce printing collaterals as well as social content to support brand’s marketing activities
- In store POS, Window & VM visualisation
- Packaging design
- Produce presentation material for Brand reviews and other ad-hoc presentations
- Stay on track with emerging trends and culture and engaging with the wider creative community
- Articulating and presenting creative ideas/treatments to teams
- Works closely with digital design team to align on multichannel creative
What you’ll need:
- Relevant industry experience ideally within a fashion retail in-house studio or agency with similar client portfolio
- Experience of working with key stakeholders including Marketing, digital teams and external suppliers
- Strong understanding of print and packaging design
- Excellent technical skills
- Creative and conceptual thinker
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An exceptional online portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and highly considered visual
- executions
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Video Editing and Sketch a bonus)
- Illustration a bonus
- Proven understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures
- Strong attention to detail
