Job description
Marketing Manchester have a fantastic new vacancy open for a Graphic Designer to undertake design and typesetting work for the Group and its various company and services areas.
Marketing Manchester (MM) promotes Greater Manchester nationally and internationally as a place to visit, invest, meet and study. Our work is an essential component to successfully raise the profile of the city-region as the gateway to the North and improve global perceptions and city ranking. Marketing Manchester also supports MIDAS, Greater Manchester’s inward investment agency, in the delivery of promotion focusing on priority sectors and campaigns including digital, innovation and green.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design an array of marketing collateral as advised by the Design Manager.
- Work directly with internal stakeholders to ensure correct design briefing.
- Manage jobs from request through to delivery.
- Ensure brand consistency through quality design work.
- Support briefing process for associated marketing activities such as photography.
- Work with a broader panel of marketing service suppliers on campaign / delivery planning.

- A creative individual with an enthusiasm for design.
- Organised, a planner who can deliver projects efficiently.
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction.
Requirements:
- Graphic design skills and the ability to create impactful marketing materials is essential.
- Proficient in the use of a variety of design software and packages including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate and Microsoft Powerpoint.
- Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in a design related discipline.
- 3 years plus experience – preferably gained in an agency or varied in-house role.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £25,300.00 per year
