You must be able to commute regularly to our Surrey office in Godalming near Guildford but working from home for part of the week is supported.

Our content platform TALiNT International delivers industry insight via website, newsletters, and magazines. We also run a programme of over 70 events including Awards ceremonies, conferences, workshops and private dinners in the UK, Europe, USA, Middle East and Australia.

Our business helps our sponsors build close working relationships with their customers within either large corporates or in the recruitment industry. Our members and delegates attend our events to access the latest thinking about developments in finding and attracting the very best talent to their business.

About the role

We are looking for a junior to mid-weight graphic designer to join our dynamic, and supportive content team.

Reporting to our Editor your duties will include:

· Design monthly magazines and manage the publishing process on DTP platform

· Design and elevate whitepapers and blogs that will be online and printed

· Design digital and printed collateral with attention paid to our in-house brand guidelines

· Create and edit product content (photos, motion graphics, videos)

· Maintain a database of all content and designs

· Create high-quality marketing materials in digital and print formats (e.g., brochures, digital ads, campaign artwork)

· Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to style guidelines

· Design artwork to technical specifications for print and digital production

· Support development of brand-building toolkits and best-practice guidelines

· Work alongside events and marketing teams to create social media assets and other support as required

· Create assets for print, web, and social media based on briefs

· Support the marketing and editorial team to distribute content on new channels

  • You will ideally be degree educated in Design or possess similar qualification, with excellent knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft products
  • One year plus of in-house and/or agency design experience and ideally this will be experience of business to business marketing content.
  • Skilled in the use of InDesign, Photoshop and Canva
  • Keen attention to detail with a solid understanding of design principles and practises
  • Experience with video editing and podcasting would be beneficial
  • Ability to work to deadlines whilst managing multiple projects at the same time
  • You should be a solid team player – we like each other a lot and work very closely together across the business
  • Ability to create processes and continually improve skills and knowledge with a ‘progress over perfection’ attitude.

What we offer

  • Base salary of circa £24,000
  • Discretionary bonus based on company performance and delivery against personal targets
  • 25 days holiday per year in addition to Bank Holidays. At the company’s discretion additional days are added at Christmas when we close the office (typically an extra 4 to 5 days)
  • Flexibility – the role is based in our Godalming, Surrey office but working from home is supported as long as attendance at the office is at least two days a week

You must be able to commute to our Surrey office in the centre of Godalming but working from home for part of the week is supported. This is an opportunity for long term development so we can only consider those with permanent permission to work in the UK.
