Graphic Designer Job description
A well-established sign/graphics & print company is looking for a professional, self-motivated and energetic Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be resourceful, well organized, able to multitask, remain cool under pressure, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates with prior experience working in a print/sign company with an understanding of products and specifications is an asset. Pay rate depends on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist Lead Graphic Designers with existing and new graphic design projects (ie business cards, postcards, banners, labels, stickers, vehicle graphics, signage etc.), proofing & preflighting final artwork for production
- Set up approved artwork for production
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Exceptional skills in writing and verbal communication
- Professional and courteous attitude toward customers and team members
- Ability to work productively and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Vigorous attention to detail, and must be well organized
- Excellent analytical skills in assessing issues and prioritizing projects
- Experience with Mac platform is a must
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud with Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign is required
Education
Graphic Design Diploma - required
Graphic design experience an asset

Job Type: Full time contract up to 6 months with possibility of permanent.
This position is not remote or hybrid. In office required.

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
