Job description
SPHERE is seeking an experienced designer to join our Marketing team. You will be responsible for designing high-quality marketing materials and maintaining brand consistency across a variety of media.
You have an eye for detail and passion for your craft. You’re a creative problem-solver and excel at distilling complex concepts into engaging, digestible visuals, and you know how to work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders. You’re excited to tackle a variety of design challenges — website mockups, digital and print ads, sales collateral, tradeshow booths, brand assets, and new design challenges that come our way.
This is a U.S. based role - remote or in the NJ office.
Essential Functions:
- Design materials for online and offline marketing and sales (including digital & print ads, web and landing pages, tradeshow booths, presentations, illustrations, whitepapers, diagrams, and more.)
- Collaborate with design, video, content, product, sales, and marketing to uphold a clear and concise brand voice, one and personality.
- Translate highly technical concepts into effective diagrams, charts, infographics, etc.
- Be an advocate for consistent and thoughtful design throughout the company.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in a design role
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality design projects, with an exceptional public-facing portfolio.
- Passion for taking risks and experimenting with new and unique ways to represent an enterprise brand, as well as a desire to take on new design challenges and learn new technologies.
- Strong ability to take ownership on projects and continuously meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), PowerPoint
- Illustration skills for iconography and graphic creation
- Bonus (but not required):
- Experience using Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
- Experience using AfterEffects
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
