Overview

North America’s largest wine and spirits distributor, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, is seeking a talented Visual Designer to join our growing Digital Transformation team. Reporting to the Director, User Experience, this individual will be responsible for applying best-in-class design principles to drive a visually engaging and intuitive frontend experience of the industry-leading Proof® eCommerce platform leveraged by over 100,000 businesses across the US.

Primary Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or similar
• 3+ years’ experience in graphic design, user interface design, interaction design, and/or product design
• Advanced proficiency in visual design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite's InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong portfolio showcasing scalable designs for web and mobile applications
• Exceptional creative abilities as reflected in original visual designs
• Has a deep understanding of visual design standard, typography, iconography, and colors
• Open to constructive feedback
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate on visual design projects and integrate feedback
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Highly collaborative spirit with a passion for achieving best-in-class, engaging and on-brand visual design
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Battle-tested interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication including executive-level presentation skills

Physical Demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
• Domestic air travel infrequently required.
