We create communication and learning experiences to support the most important customer and colleague moments across the Customer Service Group (CSG). We focus on everyday learning essentials enabling our people to offer the best service. We support our people in responding to reputational, regulatory and reactive changes and announcements. We innovate and develop new ways to deliver the best communication and learning experiences for our people across CSG.

What you'll do:
Create innovative and engaging content for digital learning experiences that have maximum impact on business performance. The Digital Learning Designer will be expected to:
  • Own the entire digital learning development lifecycle, including TNA, storyboarding, creative design and digital learning copywriting.
  • Translate business requirements into best in class communications and learning experiences. Create infographics, videos, audio, interactive simulation, creative text and/or animation.
  • Deliver content in line with Sky’s brand identity, values and tone of voice with an excellent eye for detail and strong typography and layout skills across learning platforms.
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of learning principles and theories with the ability to apply these practically. Apply instructional design theory to create storyboards, scripts and learning content.
  • Liaise with the business and stakeholders to develop an ongoing content design strategy, ensure learner engagement and determine the key information needed.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and strong problem-solving capabilities. Work with stakeholders to understand their requirements in face of unexpected and urgent business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into best in class communications and digital learning experiences.
  • Oversee content management project plans with defined quality control at each stage and measurable insights to help drive continuous performance improvement. Monitor the quality of developed content and participate in peer-to-peer reviews.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and project managers ensuring delivery of quality learning products on time and in budget.
  • Keep informed of developments in digital media, look for new ideas/inspirations and drive innovation through new technologies.
  • Working with the teams who support the different learning platforms/channels - hand off/launch signed off digital learning to the business and help facilitate embedding.
What you'll bring:
  • Experience of Digital Design with an ability to create infographics, videos, audio, interactive simulation, creative text design or animation.
  • Ability to interpret briefs and produce storyboards.
  • Good knowledge of creative design and learning content creation tools (such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate Storyline, etc.) and can deliver to a high quality within a busy studio environment.
  • Good knowledge of Graphic/Web Design tools (such as Sketch, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Webflow, Figma etc.).
  • Experience working across functions, (i.e. with copywriters to ensure the visual elements complement the words).
  • Extensive creative skills, with strong experience of designing for tone of voice/brand presence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A strong and demonstrable understanding of the software within the Adobe Suite
  • Experience of learning provision within a digital operation or social media capacity.
  • Knowledge of user-centred experience design, brand development and creative process.
  • Technically fluent in digital: social, web, mobile, apps.
  • Experience with social learning and bringing communities of practice together online.
  • English/Writing Qualification (e.g. GCSE/National 5/A-Level/Higher or equivalent in English Language or Creative Writing).
  • Experience of working in agile development operating models.
