RTI Health Solutions (RTI-HS), a business unit of RTI International, is an independent and internationally recognized research organization. We provide healthcare consulting and research expertise to optimize decision making for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device products across the development and marketing lifecycle. Clients rely on our expertise, quality standards, and integrity to guide their product development and regulatory and market access strategies. Our various practice areas include Market Access and Outcomes Strategy, Health Economics, Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment, Pharmacoepidemiology, Surveys and Observational Studies, Biostatistics, and Health Preference Assessment. We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to collaborate on RTI-HS deliverables and proposals, develop scientific posters, and format PowerPoint presentations according to RTI-HS or client-provided templates.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal client relations and development of design projects for both print and electronic media (e.g., presentations, scientific posters, graphs, and charts)
- Schedule project/graphic requests to ensure that internal deadlines are met and ensure the timely completion of design projects
- Communicate with project teams to alert them of budget and scheduling changes
- Manage several concurrent projects and work well under pressure and deadlines
- Presentation design
- Design and format presentations for layout and color consistency with a focus on usability
- Assist in the creation of web-based and PowerPoint deliverables
- Redesign charts, graphs, tables, and art for a consistent visual experience
- Work with project teams to create conceptual figures and diagrams that correctly convey intended messaging
- Design scientific posters
- Develop layouts for scientific conference posters using RTI-HS branded poster templates, as well as client-supplied templates
- Create graphs, charts, and tables for posters
- Create diagrams and graphs
- Use source files (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, hard copies) to create high-quality graphs and charts that adhere to client or RTI-HS brand guidelines
- Understand and implement proper use of brand and identity guidelines for both internal corporate materials and external client branding guidelines
- Uphold the design quality and brand identity in the development of all project materials
- Keep abreast of graphics-related technology and implement into projects
- Participate in the continuous improvement of department operations

Qualifications
- Bachelors level degree in graphic design or equivalent level of experience
- A minimum of 3 years graphic design experience
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of graphic design and branding principles
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide diplomatic and constructive comments to internal clients
- Ability to prioritize workload and to make strategic decisions about what to accomplish when faced with competing needs, including asking for help from team
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and members of the Medical Writing, Editing, and Design Services (MEDS) team
- Ability to support a diverse group of internal customers and adapt working style to accommodate a variety of personalities and needs
