The Role…
Design is central to our success. Reliance Medical is seeking a highly skilled and creative Designer to join our innovative Marketing team. As Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity and driving the visual design strategy. You will work on a number of projects from packaging and product branding to digital assets and video. Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute creative concepts for brand identity, marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and other design projects.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, new product development, and production to align design strategy with business objectives.
· Stay up-to-date with design trends to ensure our visual identity remains fresh and relevant.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and design standards are maintained throughout.
· Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and gathering feedback.
· Work with printers, and other external suppliers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of design materials.
· Maintain brand guidelines and design templates, ensuring consistency across all media.
About you, Qualifications and experience:
· A Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is desirable. A Master's degree is a plus.
· Proven experience in a design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
· Expert knowledge of design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience of video editing software is also desirable.
· Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
· Experience of working in a fast-moving environment with competing deadlines. You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
· Up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
