We have an opportunity for an experienced designer to join the creative team. The ideal candidate should have the skills and experience to be able to take a creative brief and run with it, producing thoughtful design concepts. They should be confident to talk through and present their ideas to the business. While most projects will require a collaborative approach, you should also be a natural self-starter with a well-trained eye for what works and what doesn’t. The ability to think and work fast is essential, taking on board feedback and critique to get the best results.
Job Specification
The Graphic Designer will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Taking on briefs and generating ideas and creative concepts
- Developing new and existing brands and products
- Bringing campaigns to life across print and digital (designing everything from ads and brochures to website and exhibition stands)
- Collaborating with agency and internal colleagues to deliver best in class
Skills and Experience
- Good knowledge of the Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop. While not essential, experience in motion graphics would be desirable
- Solid layout and typography skills in print and product design
- A good understanding of web design and website best practice
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Flexibility and the ability to change direction when required, prioritising and working on a range of projects at a time
- A want and curiosity to learn new skills and keep up with trends across the graphic landscape
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
