We are a market leader in wall graphics, we are a visual marketing company based in the Midlands, covering the UK and beyond, we pride ourselves in the highest quality work for schools, colleges and universities. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for design. This candidate will ideally have experiences in working with different design platforms either digital but mainly print.

THE ROLE

• As a Graphic Designer you will be designing wall, window and ceiling graphics, and signage and artwork for educational institutions.
• Creating visualisations of signs and graphics.
• Creation of designs and artwork, from initial concept to final print ready files
• Designing following an existing concept
• Print prepping the designs.
• Using design software e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop as minimum and other similar software
• You will be working from our office situated in Coventry city centre
• This is a full time permanent position

THE PERSON

• The successful Graphic Designer MUST be enthusiastic, reliable and a self-motivated individual with the drive to success in a challenging environment
• Previous experience within signage industry or reprographics advantageous
• Experience of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for detail
• Have a technical mind with a creative flair
• Naturally you must be well presented, well spoken with a confident manner as you will be dealing with clients directly
• A good communicator with excellent organisational skills and time management skills
• Team Player with an efficient and proactive approach
• Able to provide references

Qualifications

• Ideally Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 1 year of experience in graphic design (either professionally or student work)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Portfolio of work

Job Types: Full-time, Graduate

Salary: £18,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Coventry: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

• Graphic design: 1 year (preferred)
