Job Summary
This remote position will develop and implement marketing/visual design to support new concept development and consistent brand image. In this position, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing visually impactful solutions to the Retail & Patient Teams to include point of sale signage, brochures, advertisements, newsletters, logos, menus, concept guides, store signage, labels, custom presentations, and other special projects. This position also helps maintain the Morrison Healthcare image library and monitors use according to legal and company guidelines. The ideal candidate will employ key visual merchandising strategies accompanied by strong graphic design abilities and a keen eye for detail, working alongside a team of marketing and culinary counterparts to fully implement initiatives consistent with the Morrison Retail & Patient Marketing Plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop key visual strategies critical to the increase of same store sales and improved patient satisfaction.
- Coordinates content needed for sector marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Culinary and Research & Development Chefs to develop and implement new concepts to include menu boards, marketing collateral, trade dress, etc.
- Assist marketing team on development and execution of Morrison’s Promotional Strategy.
- Develop concepts and brands including logos, names, and associated taglines and copy.
Education, Experience and Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in retail marketing, merchandising, and graphic design.
- Minimum of an Associates degree in Marketing, communications, or graphic design.
- Proficiency in Mac OSX environment, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator minimum) and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to demonstrate composure and self-confidence in difficult situations.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Experience with content management and strong organizational skills allowing for efficient multi-tasking and management of multiple complex projects at once.
- Excellent understanding of customer focused needs, with a proven marketing background.
- Strong conceptual thinker who possesses a wide range of design capabilities including a solid background in print, packaging, branding, typography, catalog design, and retail graphics all a plus.
- Experience with digital technology and editing software a plus.
- A proclivity for self-direction, having reached a career level that enables independent working, and excellent time-management skills.
- Some travel expected, could reach 25%
