As part of this, we're looking for a new Internal Communications Designer to create an inspiring employee experience for our colleagues.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Internal Communications, you will sit within the Channels part of the team, responsible for all elements of our internal brand and the channels we use to communicate.
This role is critical, it is responsible for providing illustration and visual clarification to all communication provided by our business. This role, also supports our Investor Relations team, ensuring that our financial communications are representative of our people.

- Communicate with and recognise all our colleagues, especially those on the frontline.

- Support the business to deliver business strategies.

Responsibilities
Support the team to ensure projects and campaigns are communicated visually.
Ensure brand consistency throughout all forms of collateral.
Keep up to date with design industry developments, especially digital design.
Create new and original designs from scratch.
Take ownership of the creative being produced, knowing an extremely high level of detail will deliver an exceptional standard of work
Main Duties
Design collateral to create engaging communications campaigns.
Own and develop internal people brand and liaise with the Marketing team and agencies to ensure brand consistency.
Work closely with communication managers to deliver on design strategies, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Create new and original designs from scratch.
Support with the creation of collateral for our business strategy.
Support with the creation of collateral for our monthly campaign schedule, including equality, diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing, learning and development, and QHSE.
Work with the Investor Relations team to support the creation of corporate reports and presentation delivery
What we are looking for
Essential
- Excellent idea and concept generation abilities.
- Excellent understanding of the design process.
- Experience working in a communication/marketing team.
- Confident in expressing ideas/presentation skills.
- Experience in art-working, print production techniques and print management.
- Expert user of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
- Expert user of MS Office software in particular PowerPoint.
- Experience in video production & post-production with the use of Vimeo.
- Experience in Photography and photo editing.
- Experience of online design platforms e.g. Canva.
- Experience using Content Management Systems e.g. WordPress.
- Expert knowledge of corporate branding and colour theory.
- Good time management and multitasking skills in executing projects.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and able to cope under pressure.
- Strong ability to understand and interpret verbal briefs.
Desired
- Knowledge of working with Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of Podcast production.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Knowledge of Accessible design.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics.
