Intermediate Graphic Designer – Print & Multimedia

What you will you be doing (your day-to-day)
We are looking for a highly creative design professional with diverse experience designing for a range of media including print, web, and digital. This role reports directly to our Art Director, but also works collaboratively with our Creative Director, Director of Marketing as well as the rest of our creative team.
LWDG is a strategy-led agency. This means every new project starts with a comprehensive creative brief and clear strategic direction that empowers our team to execute marketing solutions that are both on-brand and on-strategy. Our team will count on you to:
- Work from creative briefs and collaborate in a team dynamic, while being accountable to move your projects forward
- Thoughtfully offer your expertise and design consultation and feedback in a positive and constructive manner.
- Stay up to date on the latest design trends, tactics and tools to keep a fresh design perspective.
- Translate strategy into meaningful creative from design concept to completion.
- Adapt to the different design styles and aesthetics required to meet the needs of our diverse industry portfolio.
- Produce high quality design solutions across a range of marketing including: brand development, package design & POS, collateral, publication, advertising, promotions, iconography, social media, website design, emails, and everything in between!
- Be a contributing and accountable team player, who is passionate about pursing the best design solutions that excite both our team and clients in our continual pursuit of creative excellence!
What you need to succeed (soft skills)

- Ability to deliver high-quality designs under pressure, being mindful of strategy, time and budget constraints.
What it takes (technical skills & expertise)
- A Graphic Design (or related) degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
- 3-5 years of related experience in producing high quality designs for print, digital and social media.
- Expert proficiency of Mac OSX, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, & Acrobat)
- Working knowledge of print production and pre-press processes
- Proficient in MS Office and G-Suite
- Experience designing for and using a range of social media including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Basic knowledge of web design including experience working with WordPress and a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is considered an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
