Job description
We are looking for a commercially experienced Graphic Designer to come and work with our talented and energetic team. Experience doesn’t specifically need to be from within the signage sector, although preferred. Ideally you will have a degree level qualification in design (or similar) and will have the ability to learn new skills quickly.
Based just outside Chelmsford, we are specialists in design and print of vehicle graphics for a wide variety of national and local clients. Having 3M Gold Partner status puts us in the top vehicle graphics’ companies in the UK and we are looking for a designer who shares our high standards and motivation to be the best.
Tasks will include:
- Working with our highly talented and experienced studio team to produce artwork for our clients and Account Managers’ alike.
- Designing for highly varied artwork projects, often large format designs for different types of vehicles from commercial to supercars.
- Setting up artwork to sending into to our production department, often briefing them on your projects.
- Using software packages such as Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (Experience with these will be an advantage to your application)
- Customer liaison, both with internal sales team and external customers over the telephone when required.
Training will be fully provided for artwork tasks specific to our business, as we understand vehicle wrapping is a niche area of design and learning to pre-press graphics for vehicles not a widely known skill.
You will need to be flexible, have a great team attitude and be prepared to work in production and support print finishing when necessary. You will also need to be able to reliably commute to Chelmsford daily and have a good telephone manner for taking calls when other members of staff are unavailable.
Starting salary £27K experience dependent.
