We are looking for a graphic designer to join our team and help us create visually stunning marketing materials that will help us reach our target audience. As a Graphic Designer at The HBP Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our brand and products. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, product development, and sales teams to create visually appealing and effective design solutions that resonate with our target audience. We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about design and can transform ideas into compelling visuals.
Your Mission:
As our Graphic Designer Extraordinaire, you'll be the maestro behind the visuals that define our brand. Your canvas will be as diverse as your imagination—creating stunning designs for our marketing campaigns, bringing our social media to life, and crafting packaging that'll make heads turn on the shelves. You'll be the Picasso of pixel-perfect, the da Vinci of data visualization, and the Michelangelo of marketing materials.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Visual Design: Create eye-catching and impactful visual assets for a wide range of mediums, including print and digital materials, social media graphics, email campaigns, and more.
- Branding: Maintain and evolve our brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design materials.
- Marketing Collateral: Design marketing materials such as brochures, email campaigns and display ads to support our marketing campaigns.Social Media: Create engaging graphics for our social media platforms to enhance our online presence.
- Website: We're all about UX and making our sites the best they can be. You'd be vital to redesigning our existing sites and maintaining them alongside the marketing team.
- Illustration: Develop custom illustrations and infographics to visually communicate complex ideas or concepts.
- Photo Editing: Edit and enhance product photos and promotional images.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements, provide creative input, and ensure design projects are delivered on time.
Skills Required for the role.
Essential:
- Technical skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Office 365.
- Knowledge of typography, colour theory, and design principles (or willingness to learn)
- Strong visual design skills with the ability to think creatively, come up with original ideas and to be able to translate ideas into visually appealing designs (or willingness to learn).
- Creative at delivering content for platforms such as Social Media, Blogs and Website.
- Ability to work with team members and stakeholders to understand their needs then translate them into designs.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- At least 2 years’ experience working in marketing.
- Have a passion to learn and develop your current skills.
- Passion for marketing.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
Desirable:
- Experience with web design (UX) and development.
- At least 3 years’ experience working on lead gen or B2B marketing.
- Commercially minded.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus but not required.

This role will be based ideally in our Hessle office, but you may be required to visit our other offices on occasion.
