Graphic Designer - Grounded Kitchen
As the scale of Grounded Kitchen grows, we have a truly exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to support our brand and national franchise marketing strategies, developing creatively charged assets, which showcase our emerging brand; amplify our voice and inspire and captivate the hearts, minds (and stomachs!) of our customers and stakeholders.
This is a perfect opportunity to play a key role within our growing marketing team, elevating our brand, supporting the development of our national, annual marketing strategy and helping take our brand to ‘household name’ status through a multi channel led approach.
In addition, you are passionate about our brand and will be instrumental in the development of bold, exciting campaigns, derived from well developed and conceived trend boards; quarterly LTOs/LTPs, and local marketing support for campaigns and events. Ultimately, you will bring our brand’s story to life through engaging visual narratives.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for a wide variety of designs on websites, social media, and other digital platforms, as well printed point of sale materials, and will be experienced in delivering creative ideas and following through to content creation and distribution. With support from our Marketing Manager, you will showcase Grounded Kitchen by creating designs aligned with our unique and exciting branding and voice.
From printed assets and point-of-sale to perfectly-bound brochures and persuasive printed items, you know how to create an engaging campaign and your creative energy and drive knows no limits. You have the portfolio, to show us your stuff too :)
Requirements include:
- Three years of experience in graphic design
- Degree (or equivalent) in graphic design or similar field
- Ability to adhere to our brand guidelines
- Understanding of marketing concepts and design principles
- Proficiency with a range of design products including Adobe, Photoshop, Canva
- Effective communication and exceptional focus and time management skills
- Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web design principles
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design
Responsibilities include:
- Researching and understanding our audience and market
- Studying design briefs and planning and illustrating concepts for publication
- Understanding and abiding by our brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all design projects
- Create visually appealing graphics and designs for various mediums, including print advertising, web design, and other mediums
- Scheduling projects
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and objectives
- Working within budget
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions to designs as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design
- Assist with typesetting and layout for print materials
- Edit videos for promotional purposes
- Communicating effectively within our Marketing Department
- Developing illustrations, logos, and other visual designs for a variety of design assets
- Ensuring final designs are always visually appealing and on brand
