Job description
We're looking for that 'light bulb moment' kind of thinking - have you got it?
We need a designer who is able to handle a range of online, offline, print and out-of-home projects, working to the highest standards on multiple fast-paced projects both in-house and for our range of clients.
You'll have strong design skills, an eye for detail and an intuitive sense of what good design looks like and how it works for clients and their audiences.
You will be integral in developing internal design and branding, including branding, web development, internal marketing and comms and proposal and pitch support.
In this role, you will:
- Design and delivery of the highest quality products, graphics and guides for our clients and their target audience(s)
- Create online collateral for our clients, including web design, and social media ads, infographics and other qualitative content, amongst others
- Create offline content, including high-impact out-of-home media (print and digital)
- Be responsible for minimising errors and consistently maintaining the highest standard of work
- Take an active role in ensuring the quality of all design-based output from the business and generating additional revenue streams
- Be visible in suggesting and implementing new working methodologies to improve the quality of work, efficiency and scalability of the team
- Stress test and critically review all your work before submission to the project managers and/or directors
- Contribute to the assurance that all design work aligns to Edison's brand and personality
- Provide input to solutions across departments
- Positively contribute to the collective success of Edison, and take a proactive role in your own personal and professional development
Desirable skills and experience:
- Previous experience working within the marketing industry
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and Canva
- Able to follow guidelines with sound technical knowledge
- A meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums
- Strong organisation skills and ability to plan, adapt and manage your time effectively based on multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
- A good understanding of UX/UI animation and video. Wireframing experience is desirable

Salary is dependent on experience.

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid role - 3 days remote and 2 days in our Manchester (M27) offices.
