About Us
We are the Product Experience (PEx) team within New Product Innovation at Dyson. Our team operates within Global Design, where Product Experience, Industrial Design, CMF, Packaging, Model-making, and UI design converge to create cohesive and engaging future product experiences for our users.
As the On-Product Graphics Team Lead at Dyson, you will be at the forefront of leading and managing a team of designers to conceptualise and create on-product graphics for all future Dyson machines and accessories. From initial briefs to final implementation and production, you will play a crucial role in communicating product use, understanding core technology, and providing wayfinding graphics and illustrations for Dyson products.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Product Experience NPI (New Product Innovations).
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of designers in both the UK and Singapore, overseeing the creation of on-product graphics.
Collaborate with product UI designers, CMF, Industrial Design, and Product Experience designers to seamlessly integrate graphics into the overall product design.
Conceptualise and create branding, logo design, iconography, and visual mock-ups adhering to Dyson's brand guidelines and on-product print processes.
Utilise Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Sketch to execute design concepts and produce high-quality visuals throughout the product development process.
Conduct research and gather feedback from end-users through testing early concepts and analysing post-launch data to continually improve our graphics.
Confidently present ideas and concepts to senior stakeholders both in the UK and overseas.
Assist junior designers in successfully delivering their projects, particularly in the absence of the Head of Product Experience.
Push the boundaries of on-product graphics for all future Dyson products, considering how the machines operate and seeking feedback to enhance the product experience through graphics.
About you
Strong background in graphics, illustration, branding, and possibly packaging.
Experience creating mock-ups of brand marks to product visuals.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Sketch.
Demonstrated expertise in branding, logo design, iconography, and visual mock-ups.
Previous experience working in a demanding environment and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
Involvement in creating physical products and their design process, working closely with engineering teams, industrial designers, and print teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas confidently.
Highly creative thinker, proactive, positive, and forward-thinking.
Attention to design detail and accuracy.
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
Ability to generate ideas within tight deadlines and effectively respond to given briefs.
