DSL Group (Nottingham) Limited are a Nottingham based company and are looking for an in-house Graphic Designer to join our growing team
We will expect you to bring ideas, enthusiasm, flair, creativity and a good work ethic. In return we will help you to develop and hone your skills with the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects. We are looking for an exceptional and conscientious candidate with a desire to constantly develop skills. You will be passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to excel and able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
You will have great design skills and a strong portfolio. Ideally you will also have experience of working in an office environment. Collaborating internally with the creative team, you will support the business on design projects. Whether you are brainstorming branding concepts, or converting visuals into final files, you will use your natural enthusiasm to bring ideas to life.
Main Responsibilities
- To work alongside our design team on creative briefs from conception to delivery;
- To create engaging print and digital design work for a wide range of projects
- Undertaking research and having experience in the use of social media;
- To provide support to our sales team and other departments;
Requirements
- Proficient with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, CS5 or higher)
- Be able to create eye catching graphics that are in line with the brand image;
- Create material to be used on social media;
- Manage and maintain graphic files, including logos, photos and illustrations;
- A natural ability to combine creative flair with plenty of ideas;
- Must be of graduate calibre, and ideally have a minimum of 1 years relevant work experience;
- Must be able to work as part of a team and provide input where required;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with good time management;
- Must have passion and enthusiasm for the role;
- Must have excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to be flexible, as the role demands, handling multiple briefs and changing priorities;
