Job Description

De Beers is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Brand & Sustainability team in London. As the guardian of design, you will champion creativity and ensure consistency across all De Beers brand touchpoints.

In this role, you will develop and support the creative studio with the execution of global content and campaigns across all consumer-facing print and digital channels. You will be responsible for designing eye-catching and engaging graphic identity across marketing disciplines, including digital, branding, advertising, email, and social media content.

You will work alongside other members of the creative studio team in the conception of all digital and print designs, acting as a key brand guardian across all creative output. The successful candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of digital platform capabilities and limitations to ensure platform/channel first creative that engages our audience is delivered.

As a highly creative designer, you will have a degree in art and design and a minimum of 5 years' experience at an agency or luxury brand delivering consumer-facing creative content and campaigns. You will be adept in Graphic Design Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign Photoshop & Illustrator, along with video editing experience in Premiere (or Final Cut Pro) and aftereffects Microsoft Office Suite.

You will be comfortable presenting to senior leadership teams, supporting the Chinese market on the design of key platforms, including WeChat, mini-programs, H5 media, and trade show support such as booth design, artwork, and marketing materials as needed.

  • Qualifications
    -Degree level qualifications in art and design
  • Highly creative designer and will be the champion of exceptional graphic design – please provide portfolio to showcase your work
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at agency or luxury brand delivering consumer facing creative content and campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital landscape and channels
  • Ability to identify the main elements of an issue or problem despite working with incomplete data
  • Sees the main patterns, themes & linkages in information and broader implications
  • Generates several alternative options & makes a well-reasoned decision based on an analysis of the risks & opportunities
  • Understands the purpose & objectives of own functional area and how it aligns with the other parts of the organisation
  • Jewellery / diamond knowledge would be an advantage
  • Extensive experience in Graphic Design Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign Photoshop & Illustrator to design
  • Adept in video editing - Premiere (or Final Cut Pro) and aftereffects Microsoft Office Suite, Figma / sketch … or others
  • Ability to think long term while juggling short term priorities
  • Great collaboration skills – will need to work across markets and marketing functions.
  • Ability to inspire other creative colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Energetic and self-motivated with a bias to action
