We are currently seeking a Graphic Design and Marketing Assistant to join our growing company.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, this position will be responsible for the following:
Location: North Toronto - Finch/Keele
Hours: Full day, Monday to Friday ( 9am - 5pm) Hybrid - Office/Remote 2 days a week in-office
Salary: $22 - $24 ($45,700- $49,900) - Commensurate with experience

Experience with Product Design, Facebook Advirstising, Product Marketing, e-mail Marketing and video editing is a must.
The Role: The Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for creating designs for a variety of different product packaging and promotional materials to be used for campaigns on email marketing, social media advirstising, digital advertising campaigns, websites and blogs.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Dreamweaver, Canva, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel
- Advanced experience in Facebook and Instagram advertising and strategy, product packaging, digital and traditional
- Strong sense of design and typography
- Strong creative skills and ability to contribute and collaborate within a team setting
- Front and back-end web development skills preferred. CSS, HTML, Shopify, etc.)
Competencies:
- Ability to work independently yet be a very strong communicator
- Creative thinker with a passion for design
- Strong attention to detail
- Must maintain knowledge of current digital best practices and technology
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong multitasking skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken

- Create and edit promotional content for Digital Campaigns and Company Websites
- Product packaging design
- Promotional materials such as banners, brochures, and mockups for trade shows
- Support ongoing marketing projects and assist in the implementation of company marketing plans.
- Manage design projects from start to finish
- Analyze campaign metrics and suggest solutions to boost sales
- Create brand videos and edit existing content for ads and digital campaigns
- Stay on top of design trends and industry trends

Required education:
- A degree or post-secondary diploma in design, marketing or other related field
- A minimum of 2-4 years experience
