The Role

Canopius is looking for a junior graphic designer to support our digital content creation and maintenance.

As our graphic designer you will be responsible for developing creative content and digital materials to be used on social, website, ad campaigns, and our intranet. We are looking for a self-starter who is confident in developing on-brand digital and print-ready marketing collateral, infographics, simple video, and more. This junior role sits within the MarComms team.

The team is dynamic and is looking for a confident team player to support with creative and digital skills and can work to deadlines.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering creative, innovative and impactful graphic design solutions to help drive business objectives, including branding, marketing materials, presentations, digital design, photo and video.
  • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, logos, websites, brochures, promotional materials, and advertisements.
  • Working with internal stakeholders and taking briefs to understand their needs and develop concepts.
  • Support the filming, editing and production of corporate videos with our creative partner agencies, and also independently create and edit short video for internal and social media consumption.
  • Acting as Marcomms liaison with Technology and business stakeholders to support in-office audio-visual activities (AV) such as in-person meetings, forums and town hall events.
  • Designing and producing web elements such as banners, web graphics, and email layouts.
  • Creating and designing Powerpoint templates for presentations, reports, and other documents.
  • Supporting website updates and content.
  • Manage and maintain our YouTube account.
  • Work alongside the team to pull together analytical monthly reports.

Skills and experience:

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Create suite.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro or iMovie.
  • Proficient in designing and managing content within Office 365.
  • Technology proficiency and abilities to manage in-office audio-visual meeting and communications tools.
  • Ability to work in a team-focused, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and produce well-edited work to a high standard.
  • Strong project management skills: ability to juggle multiple projects, organise and prioritise, and respond quickly to changes.
  • Solutions orientated and a can-do attitude.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS & UX/UI principles welcomed.
  • B2B Experience welcomed.
  • Experience working with ecommerce/D2C companies welcomed.
