Job description
An opportunity has arisen in our Wide Format Division, and we are seeking an experienced Wide Format Graphics Production Operative to join our team of skilled pre-production and wide format print operatives at our Milton Keynes site.
As a Wide-Format Graphics Production Operative at BCQ Display, you would work with a small and dynamic team to print and finish our wide format orders efficiently and to the highest quality, delighting our customers and developing your excellent skills in print production.

About our offer:
Joining us on a full-time contract basis, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday (with regular overtime opportunities) you would receive an annual salary of £26k-£30k dependent on experience, 26 days holiday per year + bank holidays and the opportunity to join our fantastic team.
About the role.
As a Wide Format Graphics Production Operative, your work would involve:-
- developing a sound ability to interpret, follow and analyse production and productivity documents
- having the discipline to adhere to scheduled requirements, starting and continuing projects with minimal supervision
- being able to perform independently and collaboratively on projects from beginning to end
- taking a flexible approach to tasks and work requirements
- supporting and encouraging others within a team
- performing consistently and effectively with attention to detail in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
- taking a team-based approach to problem-solving
- the ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure
- self-management of quality assurance & control
- liaising with the Shopfloor Supervisor and General Manager in the completion of projects
- excellent time-management
- initiative and reliability
Ideally you will have:-
- Digital wide format and super-wide print production process knowledge
- Experience of large format cutting tables such as Kongsberg, Zund or Dyss
- Knowledge and experience in rip software and layout tools
- Good understanding of digital file formats (pdf, tiff, eps) from different operating systems (Mac and PC) is required
- Good understanding of Illustrator & Cutting software
