Job Description
Do you have a passion for graphic design? Do you have an interest in apparel and promotional products? If so, we have the perfect job for you!
The Graphic Designer is responsible for all digital art proofs, photography, catalog and flyer design as well as supporting online graphic requests. You will also be working alongside our sales service team to help streamline incoming promotional product orders.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Design and develop a wide variety of high quality marketing materials for presentations, print, web, email, flyer, catalogue templates, displays, brochures for a variety of customers as required.
· Provide graphic design support for the sales team
· Support and update content and graphics for websites
· Create compelling graphics to accompany orders
· Create visually appealing layouts and copy placement for art proofs
· Coordinate, compare and outsource third party partners and printers
· Ensure accurate, on time and cost-effective communications for both print and digital formats
· Assist in the proofing of files and sign-off of production proofs
· Maintain database of images and artwork
· Photography as needed
Education and Experience:
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar field
· Advanced knowledge of designing with a PC and using software programs including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign), and the Microsoft Office Suite – strong knowledge of Excel a bonus
· Familiarity with the workflow/creative process
· Strong copywriting, editing and proof reading skills with an attention to detail and quality control
· Excellent time management, project management, problem solving and relationship management skills
· Ability to work independently or in a team setting
· Thrives in an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment, where tight timelines are common
· Photography and photo retouching
· Ability to plan and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and to coordinate tasks involving different departments
