In this role, you will lead the creation of applied graphic assets for our seasonal product expressions. You will have the unique opportunity to help influence the brand from both a macro and micro design perspective while assisting in everything from on-garment branding, print and pattern programs, seasonal t-shirt and accessories graphics, product illustration, all the way down to the finest details in product labeling and trims.

The Colour & Graphics Team is a hub that links the product design and visual merchandising process with the guest experience. We balance creativity, design, process, and logistics to ensure the successful execution of the Arc’teryx colour and graphics design philosophy.
If you were the Senior Designer – Graphics now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Working closely with Design to lead the execution of the seasonal t-shirt and accessories program from concept to delivery for all on product graphics
- Creating and maintaining tech packs and Bill of Material Data
- Creating and maintaining trims (labels, embroidery, branding) artwork files
- Researching, developing and executing print and pattern to build our brand point of view, and drive trend in the places we play
- Providing templates, support and direction for Designers for all internal and external communication tools and assets
- Supporting Design leaders with all on product branding communications, and support in the creation and maintaining of all on-product standards
- Perpetuating brand aesthetic across all categories of product
- Driving trend research and translating graphics and print into the brand’s handwriting
- Designing new patterns for use on multiple product categories
- Communicating the brand graphics vision through dynamic presentations to the broader internal and external teams seasonally
- Coaching and mentoring the Designers in the creative process and overseeing the completion of all print pattern and graphic specifications to meet Arc’teryx brand aesthetics
- Building a network of external industry contacts specializing in print pattern and graphic creative development
- Establishing best practices to increase efficiency and print/pattern/graphic quality assurance across design process and calendars
- Partnering with Product Creation Team to review print and pattern strike offs
- Fostering a culture of inspiration, creativity, collaboration and accountability
- Collaborating closely with the Creative, Product, and Supply Chain teams (specifically Design, Merchandising and Sourcing) throughout the product life-cycle

- Creating and presenting the graphic and print vision and direction for both evergreen and seasonal
- Collaborating with Visual Merchandising and Merchandising teams to create a framework for enhanced guest experience and flow
- Working with Supply Chain teams on logistical frameworks and process
- Sharing seasonal direction with Brand and Commercial teams
Are you our next Senior Designer – Graphics?
- You have a college degree/diploma in Design and 5+ years’ experience in graphic design or communication work
- You have strong graphics sense along with strong communication and presentation skills
- You have advanced skills in Adobe CS
- You have the ability to independently and efficiently manage time across multiple projects and overlapping seasons to complete projects on time
- You are highly process-oriented
- You have an excellent eye for colour
- You have strong written and spoken English communication skills
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
