Job description

We are on the lookout for Active, Outgoing and Enthusiastic persons to join our CREW this SPRING. PERFECT FOR GAP YEAR STUDENTS and LEAVERS!

OUR IDEAL CREW ARE:

  • Physically active and enjoy working outdoors
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Have good availability to work weekends
  • Confident, reliable and self-motivated
  • Maintain a safe working environment on and off the river
  • Have a passion for history and a flair for sharing it with others
  • A good knowledge of Cambridge

Everything we do as a company is built on the enthusiasm and professionalism of our crew.

Cambridge attracts visitors from all over the world – and, if you love a fast-paced, friendly atmosphere you’ll love every moment here.

We are arranging informal interviews for next stage applicants at our moorings over the next few weeks. It's simply an introduction hello, for us to assess and a chance to ask us any questions you may have.

IDEAL FOR GAP YEAR STUDENTS and LEAVERS!

We offer you:

  • The most competitive rates of pay, plus amazing opportunities. Combination of a fixed rate per tour and uncapped sales commission
  • Flexible working, with both full-time and part-time roles available
  • Full training and crew wear provided
  • 28 days paid holiday (or pro rata for part time workers) per annum.

This is a very rewarding job, but one that also requires full commitment and reliability.

The ability to stay fit both mentally and physically by working in a positive environment is very rewarding. We are the perfect company or a young person to thrive, with great opportunities for variety and promotion.

Contact us today. Let us know your Spring availability and location. Briefly tell us what makes you an ideal team member. Plus any interests, languages and sports. Ideally, you'll live local and have some punting or waters sports experience. Please do not apply unless you think you're the perfect candidate and you live in the immediate Cambridge area.

We are also on the lookout for mooring decking assistants and street sales.
