Job Description:
Our support functions deliver services and makes recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the experience of working at our organisation. Our functions extend beyond Medical Affairs to include External Affairs, Marketing and Procurement.
The Digital Excellence, Medical Innovation & Information team brings together our scientific and business acumen into our overall strategic and tactical decision making. We use state-of-the-art platforms and business models for analysis, planning, reporting and digital evaluation. This allows the organisation to continue advancing medical innovation and improve lives.
Our 24 Month Graduate scheme encompassing two 12-month rotations in the Medical Affairs- Information team (London/remote) and Innovation team (London/Remote)
You will begin your journey with Medical Information, within the Medical Affairs team, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality, non-promotional and unbiased medical and scientific information across a range of therapeutic areas and preparing scientific content for internal and external customers.
Duties & responsibilities
- Conduct process assurance activities relating to outsource provision of Designated Point of Contact (DPOC) and Medical Information (MI)
- Generate bespoke responses to address third line enquiries and preparing scientific documentation for internal and external customers
- Localise Global Scientific Response Documents (SRDs) for local use
- Review and approve UK-specific SRDs to respond to MI enquiries
- Perform quality assurance of SRDs
- Provide internal resource for product knowledge and responding to internal scientific enquiries
- Ensure inspection and audit readiness for DPOC and MI activities
- Support the technical and scientific review of non-promotional materials for assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring compliance with ABPI Code of Practice, statutory and Company requirements
- Generate and provide metrics and insights for the wider business
You will then move to the Innovation team within the Medical Excellence Department where you will be supporting in a variety of projects supporting Medical education and digital assets.
Duties & responsibilities
- Conduct research on medical innovation and education trends to identify new opportunities and potential solutions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to develop and implement innovative medical education programs including the project management of our Medical Affairs website
- Work with internal and external partners to create engaging and effective learning experiences
- Develop and implement evaluation methods to measure the impact and effectiveness of medical education programs
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
Technical Requirements
Studying towards a degree (or equivalent qualification) in a medicine, life sciences, pharmacy discipline. Other qualifications may be considered such as Health Economics or Medical Education either predicted or gained within the last two years
Studied one or more of the following A-Level subjects; Science, Economics and Business, IT
Project management experience with examples of delivering initiatives from start to finish with clear goals and objectives
Experience of software architecture including development and deployment
Experience in Medical Education methodologies and curriculum design
Strong research and analytical skills
Familiarity with technology and digital tools for medical education and innovation
Demonstrates planning and organisational skills
Demonstrates numeric, IT and analytical skills

Throughout the 24 month scheme you will receive guidance and mentoring to not only help you through your current role, but also to prepare you for applications to permanent roles within the organisation, with the aim that you will continue your career journey with our company.
