Full Time Belfast, Northern Ireland 22072 - 26691 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

We use technical and business knowledge to solve our clients’ problems. And because we offer so many different technology services we need people with different experiences to help us deliver them effectively. Digital is the new normal, transforming how we work and live.

At PwC, as we focus on future innovations, we’re investing in the best and most diverse workforce of today and tomorrow. We’re pushing forward with the use of technology within our own business – enabling our people to work more efficiently and collaborate more easily. All this is part of our commitment to put technology at the centre of our strategy as we continue to help our clients navigate the future digital landscape.

Technology-Powered Consulting
We help our clients minimise disruption and maximise impact with human-led, tech-powered transformation. PwC is rated among the top technology consultants by leading analysts because we know how to help our clients extract real business value from tech.

Working side-by-side with our functional and industry experts, our technologists strive for imaginative ways of solving our clients' most important challenges. They provide expertise across technology strategy, architecture and delivery, in specific specialisms such as data, intelligent sourcing and cloud, and in best-in-class market technologies – both cloud hyperscalers such as Microsoft, Google and AWS, and enterprise applications including Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, Guidewire and Workday.

As part of our tech-powered Consulting teams, you’ll help our clients to undertake large scale, cloud-enabled technology delivery, implementation and transformation programmes, working across a variety of industry sectors with client opportunities across the UK.

Programme

Our graduate training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.

What you'll do

In year one you’ll gain core technology skills and capability across all areas of our business, gaining practical experience on tech-powered transformation projects across finance, customer, operations, supply chain, risk and compliance, cloud and enterprise transformation. You’ll gain relevant certifications to help you build your skills in key technologies.
In year two you’ll align to one of these tech-powered transformation areas. You will choose to focus on one of our major vendor areas such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle or Microsoft, or on a core tech capability such as data, architecture, tech strategy or tech delivery. You will continue to have the opportunity to work on key strategic projects and gain certifications in your area of specialism.
By working alongside industry and functional experts in our tech-powered transformation teams, you will gain experience of technology in a business context

What you'll gain

PwC’s Technology Foundation programme is an accelerated pathway into learning technical skills, and experiencing first hand, how some of the world’s biggest and most dynamic brands use technology to run their business. You’ll have the opportunity to develop skills that will place you at the heart of helping our clients innovate and take advantage of technology to enable their business to be truly digital.

You will be supported and encouraged to take ownership of your personal development, gaining recognised technical certifications and continually learning through feedback from different projects and roles.

In year one, in addition to your initial technology foundation training, you’ll attend three further training sessions where you’ll gain certifications in key technologies and capabilities. During year one you’ll also have the opportunity to put into practice your training on client projects with the mentorship and support from experienced technology consultants who you’ll work alongside.

As you further specialise in year two, you’ll have the opportunity of more advanced certifications in your chosen area, and will focus on developing your core consulting skills including areas such as Delivery, Self Awareness and Resilience.

What you'll need

You'll need to have or be on course to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.

A degree background in a STEM related subject is desirable but not mandatory. If you can demonstrate a strong interest or previous learning in Technology we will also consider your application.

The starting date for this role will be split across two intakes; September 2023 and January 2024. Whilst you will have the chance to communicate your preferred start date, this cannot be guaranteed.

Do you need a work permit?
