SF Recruitment are supporting a leading independent fresh produce business in Birmingham who are recruiting for a Graduate Technologist to join the team on a permanent basis.

Hours: Monday - Friday. 08:00 - 17:00pm.

Salary: £25,000 p.a. + 28 days holiday including bank holidays + Pension + Free Parking + Excellent Training & Progression.

The Role:

• As the Graduate Technologist, you will report into the Technical Manager where you will focus towards the vegetable side of the business where you will uphold and drive quality and environmental standard on the facility.
• Understanding and decision making of product quality and seasonality.
• Attendance of customer facing meetings and supplier facing meeting to support team.
• Management of customers specifications and communications to all relevant parties where appropriate, including management of customer database.
• Lead as a Product Specialist, complementing sample preparation and benchmarking.

The Candidate:

As the successful candidate for the Graduate Technologist position, you will have the following:

• Relevant Degree in Product Management or similar.
• Understanding of Food Safety Laws.
• Excellent Communication & I.T Skills.
