The Program- what will I be doing?

You will be involved in advising companies, designing and implementing their sustainability strategies and you will support the delivery of consulting assignments as part of a multidiscipline team. You will also get involved in various initiatives and projects aimed at accelerating the growth of Goal7 and with this comes the unique opportunity to grow with the business.

Three year training programme on either the Engineering or Economics route.

Economics route- preferably seeking graduates from an Economics or Financial related discipline.

Engineering route- preferably seeking graduates from Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical Engineering, Chemist or Geoscience related disciplines.

Who are we looking for?

A recent graduate from a relevant degree discipline, or equivilent experience. Whilst we do not stipulate a minimum grades requirement we are seeking candidates with a strong academic record from both school/ college and university. Preference will also be given to candidates who can demonstrate relevant work experience.

Your academic background is important but it is the individuals that make our team. We give priority to applicants who can demonstrate the following capabilities throughout their application:

  • Highly motivated and looking to develop themselves as a recognised expert in their field
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prepare high quality written work and other communication materials including spreadsheets and presentations
  • Competent in using IT technology appropriate to role

Please note, successful candidates will be required to work from our offices in Aberdeenshire for the first six months of employment to support their effective onboarding and development. Candidates should ideally be based in Scotland following on from this for monthly visits to the office. Positions will start from September 2023.
