Are you searching for an opportunity to kick start your career as Software Developer?

At Data Intellect, we provide first-class graduate training to help you become industry leading Fintech specialists, with the opportunity to work all over the globe! Our comprehensive training programme combines guided learning, hands-on work experience and personalised career guidance to give you the best possible start in your career as an IT professional.

We are looking for ambitious Graduates from any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) background who have an aptitude for problem solving, logical thinking and a keen interest in becoming an adept Financial Software Developer.

Whilst programming experience is beneficial, it’s not essential, as our comprehensive training programme does not assume any prior knowledge or experience. If successful, you will join an intake of other like-minded Graduates, and our bespoke training academy will be delivered from our Belfast Headquarters for an initial 3-month period.

During this time, you will learn the Q programming language which is associated with the kdb+ time series database from KX systems (kx.com). Once up to speed, you will work with world leading investment banks and hedge funds to capture, store, analyse and visualise huge volumes of data.


Qualifications


What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s Degree in ANY STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Detail-orientated, results-driven and a can-do attitude
  • Capable of working both independently and within a team
  • Coding experience is advantageous but not essential
