Daysix is looking for a Graduate Developer to join our team. Working closely with other developers, you will work on a diverse range of innovative and challenging projects that have real world impact. Daysix has a particular focus on healthcare, with a reputation for delivering solutions into the NHS directly impacting the lives of both clinicians and patients. Our success has come from a deeply inquisitive culture that seeks to understand the context of the problems we solve.

We are a self-motivated, talented and down-to-earth team of developers, designers and filmmakers who believe in making good things, pushing ourselves to do our best work in a spirit of collaboration.

You can read more about who we are on our website.

About you and the role

You are motivated, hardworking and deeply interested in the potential of software development. You must desire to grow and to take ownership over your work. Ultimately, you must love developing software.

Our graduate program will see you explore both frontend and backend technologies to establish where your greatest strengths lie. Our senior development team will support you as you’re exposed to the technologies we use, help you adopt good coding practices and design patterns, and support you in designing and delivering solutions to challenging problems.

We believe developers grow fastest when they are exposed to the full development lifecycle as early as possible. As a result, our graduate developers are given the responsibility and opportunity to tackle complicated projects at the earliest opportunity.

You will be involved in the entire solution development lifecycle from: end user discovery, requirements gathering, concept, design approach, project planning & tracking, infrastructure management, build systems, development, testing and rollout. Our aim is to equip our graduate developers with the knowledge to handle a project from proposal through to delivery. Discovering your place within this lifecycle and where your talent and passions lie will be a critical step on your career journey.

At Daysix we are proud of our people-first culture and are committed to the training and development.
