We are currently looking for a motivated Sales Development Executive to join our client, an ecommerce business located in the heart of Bristol. The company is the process of opening up our US operations. The role would ideally suit a graduate who is looking to start their career in tech industry.
The Role
You'll be the first point of contact for new customers, you'll be responsible for engaging with new customers who have taken trials understanding their business and taking them through the full on-boarding processes, from qualification, demo, setup, and go-live.
You'll need a hunger to develop your sales and customer facing skills as well as enjoying communicating with internal and external stakeholders of all levels and seniorities.
This involves:
- Calling out to customers ( you'll be on the phone and google meet / zoom / teams meetings most of the day )
- Building relationships and maintaining a consistent sales pipeline
- Engaging in consultative conversation with decision makers to understand any challenges they may be facing
- Working towards targets and KPI’s
- Ensuring that the CRM system is consistently updated
- Working with our internal teams to champion requirements your customers have
You will need:
- Be a people person and an excellent and adaptable phone manner
- Highly motivated with great energy.
- Coachable, you'll be able to take feedback, internalise it and then use it.
- A high EQ with the ability to adapt and tailor calls to different situations and people
- A good level of computer fluency
- Great listening skills and attention to detail
- A university Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years client-facing sales / customer service role

- Salary range is £22,000 base + £12,000 commission (OTE is £34,000), but top performers can comfortably exceed £40,000.
