More about your role

As part of our graduate programme, known internally as our Emerging Talent programme we are excited to recruit our Graduate Researcher. As our Graduate Researcher within the Places Impact team, you'll undertake a key role in understanding our communities. The start date for this role is 18th September which will include a week long induction in Leeds.

The two-year program will support you to develop the core skills, behaviours and technical ability to develop into as a specialist researcher with Social Impact Experience.

Places for People truly believes that community matters, and we want to get to know ours. The role of the Graduate Researcher will be to work with customers to hear, document and share their stories. Understanding the history and heritage, personal profiles, and culture of our customer base.

This is a role that works closely with our Places Impact and Marketing Communications team and will facilitate the celebration of our customers, enable us to truly put them at the heart of what we do and understand the reasoning behind their decision making.

More about you

You'll be educated to a graduate level with a degree that focuses on research methods including humanities, people geographies etc.

This role is ideal for a “people” person, you'll be an inquisitive communicator and have the ability to put those around you at ease. Being able to build professional relationships quickly to get the story and information needed.

You'll recognise the value of difference, both in heritage, culture and history and treat all those around you will respect.
