About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Radiographer to join our team at the Taunton Diagnostic Centre.

Alliance Medical runs Taunton Diagnostic Centre in partnership with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Serving patients across the county, the centre is located away from the busy hospital making it more accessible and convenient for referrers and their patients. Offering a range of diagnostic imaging, our friendly team offers patients a calm and efficient scanning service.

If you are a newly qualified Radiographer, then this is the opportunity for you. This is a dynamic role working across all modalities, Alliance Medical have a robust clinical competency framework and can provide the essential training you will need in MRI/CT and PET-CT. You will follow our Graduate training scheme and clinical competency pathway and be supported on this pathway by our mentors and assessors.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCA’s, and administrative staff.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week covering a 12-hour service, 7 days a week with a flexible approach desired to suit the requirements of the service.

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for Radiographers with a minimum of 12 months of experience and ideally some experience in cross sectional imaging.

You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.
