About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Radiographer to join our team. You will follow our Graduate Preceptorship scheme at ourNorth Tees and Hartlepool MRI Departments.

If you are a newly qualified radiographer, then this is the opportunity for you. This is a dynamic role working across all modalities, Alliance Medical have a robust clinical competency framework and can provide the essential training you will need in MRI/CT and PET-CT. You will follow our Graduate training scheme and clinical competency pathway and be supported on this pathway by our mentors and assessors.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCA’s, and administrative staff.

The role will be within North Tees and Hartlepool MRI Departments. The scanners are in a static units within the local NHS Trust sites. The Alliance MR team work closely with the Trust enabling the smooth management of NHS Trust patients. As the service is provided at two distinct geographical locations there is the opportunity to gain experience in scanning routine and more complex cases.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Radiographer to work 40 hours per week. The successful applicant will not need experience with MRI imaging procedures although this may be an advantage. The unit operates 7 days per week 12hrs per day with a varied case mix. Flexibility is required as you will be working as part of a small dynamic team.

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for Radiographers with a minimum of 12 months of experience and ideally some experience in cross sectional imaging.

You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.
