Graduate Project Manager
We have an opportunity for a Graduate Project Manager to join us in our UK Team. We are currently recruiting for our team based in Aberdeen.
The Graduate Project Manager will work as part of the Project Management Function which leads the successful delivery of projects from concept, FEED and detailed design services for both onshore and offshore conventional and new energy projects.
As a graduate under the supervision and mentorship within our team, you will focus your learning to apply theoretical principles to defined tasks. You will be involved in the review of project processes, utilising your current knowledge-based experience whilst learning the broader theoretical principles related to Project Management.
Our structured programme is designed to provide graduates joining the project management community of Worley with first-hand training and development, ensuring that they gain the knowledge, skills and experience required for them to contribute positively to the wider Worley business.
As a Graduate Project Manager:
You’ll be
- As part of our team, providing support to the project teams to coordinate the delivery and implementation of repair order/minor modification scopes/a discrete element of the Work Breakdown structure on a given project
- Assisting the project team with delivery of modification scopes under their direction and supervision
- Helping to deliver the client’s workplan within budget commitments
- Having a full awareness of the administering of contract agreements between Worley and its subcontractors whereby Worley and Client interests are protected and costs are managed
- Maintaining close contact with the client throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfactory reaction to Client needs or criticisms
- Monitoring and controlling project performance against budget, schedule, quality and safety requirements, using appropriate control tools and reporting to Worley Management
- Identifying any changes in the scope of work and ensuring that appropriate change requests are current and adequate
- Gaining an awareness of the requirement to manage multi-discipline engineering teams in the delivery of work
- Inputting into potential improvements to existing methods and techniques to aid both cost reductions and improved sustainability in assigned work areas
You’ll have
- You will be in your final year of study of a bachelor’s or master’s level degree or have graduated within the past 3 years from any discipline.
