About this role
A career in communications is diverse and dynamic. Spanning PR, social media, data analytics and crisis management, the Citypress graduate scheme will expose you to every discipline.
Structured as a 12-month training placement in one of our agency’s Consumer, Business or Social Media teams, you will work on campaigns for some of the UK’s biggest brands, learning from some of the most experienced consultants in the industry.
Based in either our Manchester, Edinburgh or London office, you will also have the opportunity to work with our Research, Analytics and specialist Content teams.
Open to anyone who is due to graduate before September or who has graduated within the last three years, the programme guarantees a permanent role on completion.
Role requirements
- An interest in communication, current affairs, the news and media
- Great communication skills, with the ability to articulate a considered point of view
- Strong writing skills, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a 15-minute video call interview. If successful, you will be asked to supply a written submission based on a supplied topic and invited to participate in an assessment day on 13th July in our Manchester office.
Our assessment day is designed to be fun and informative.
Offers for graduate placements will be made on or before 17th July with an early September start date.
