Position Title: Graduate Costing Engineer
Location: Farlough Road Dungannon
Reporting to: Pricing Manager
Reporting to the Pricing Manager, the Graduate Costing Engineer will support the TWS Pricing Team with the collection and analysis of data to estimate costs associated with bespoke washing plant offerings. As a member of the Costing team, you will work towards cost target objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting TWS Costing Team
To include:-
- Draft and prepare project costing files
- Request third party quotations, maintain quotations logs and keep up to date costing library information
- Assist with the analysis of data to provide cost estimates
- Report on past material usage
- Review price increases
- Execute cost-down opportunities
- Export system data to analyse and compare bills of materials
- Validate pricing estimates to actual cost
- Provide forecasting of third-party requirements
- Update and maintain Order Forms
- Support with the collection of information and issuing of supply tenders
- Build and maintain good rapport and excellent relations with key contacts and suppliers
- Monitor and update department Task assignments assigned to the TWS team
Experience and Qualifications Criteria:
- 3rd Level Engineering/Manufacturing or business/commercial degree or equivalent
- Strong MS Office skills, with proven working knowledge of MS Excel formulas, pivot tables and macros
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy in preparing /checking paperwork
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work within a team
