You will be working in a successful, expanding purpose built R & D centre on research projects that will be applied to next generation products and will have the opportunity to actually turn your research into products that sell in their millions around the world.
You will need experience in a research or early stage product development environment and a real passion for research and development and an analytical approach to problem solving
Skills that you will need for this Graduate Physicist job -
- Degree + in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics based subjects
- Practical experience in implementation of scientific method
- Experience in designing experiments, testing and statistical analysis of results
- Experience working in lab environment with mains voltage products
- Experience with Technical Support
Desirable experience for this Graduate Physicist job -
Experience with the following software packages would be advantageous:
- Minitab, or similar statistical software
- LabView, Matlab or Python
- Comsol, or similar computer simulation packages
This really is a multi technology, engineering driven Graduate Physicist job and will require somebody who can think concept - design - implement, in a physics environment. Hardware, software, physics, chemistry experimental skills are all relevant and all utilised in product development.
