As a NOC Engineer, you will be part of an international team that monitors and maintains more than 14,000 servers, and 250 network devices located in more than 8 data centers worldwide. The Network Operations Engineers troubleshoot and resolve routine and complex network, hardware, and operating system issues in a timely manner while maintaining a 99.99% uptime rate for all systems. Given the global nature of our business, our Engineers work in a rotating shift pattern covering the hours of 6:00am - 7pm within a condensed work week.
- Monitor internal and production systems and escalating/paging L2 Engineers.
- Work incidents effectively and efficiently and engage Engineering, Support, QA, and other personnel in accordance with established processes and procedures.
- Document problem descriptions and provide detailed problem diagnosis with accuracy and in compliance with established practices.
- Review and update the status of problems in trouble-ticketing system.
- Assist in maintaining Operations documentation including support guides, knowledge base articles, and procedures.
- Participate in the transfer of information from one shift to the next.
- This is an entry level role open to all backgrounds - you will be required to demonstrate technical knowledge acquired by - personal achievements, self-taught, academic qualifications, or industry experience such as Linux, networking, operating systems, scripting and automation
- A proven passion for learning with a desire to work in the technical industry
