We are delighted to offer an entry level "Graduate" role in our Fibre Network Planning team. Working for Giganet you will gain rich insight into how a successful and growing company works and successfully expand your horizons beyond academia.

This role would suit someone coming to the end of their studies in Environmental Sciences / Geography with an interest in Urban and Regional Planning, Territorial Planning, Mapping, Land Change Analysis. To be successful in this role you will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, an analytical, problem solving mindset with the capability to grasp new and complex systems. You will need to be able to work independently whilst being able to collaborate with team members and vendors in a dynamic and forward thinking way.

About the role:

As Network Planner at Giganet, you will work with GIS tools such as QGIS and ArcGIS, interpreting maps and blueprints. The role requires someone comfortable working with large datasets for the purpose of design and planning fibre networks across the UK. The role joins an established GIS planning team, currently delivering quality fibre build to our customers in the South of England. In the role you will review and assess the quality of the Pon returns (submissions) prior to upload to our asset bank (Vetro).

The recruitment process:
